Eko-Okna S.A. stands in solidarity with the people of Croatia

The end of 2020 was not kind to the people of Croatia. On December 29, the country was hit by the strongest earthquake in 140 years. The epicentre was near the town of Petrinja in the Sisacko-Moslavic district.

At least seven people died, and hundreds lost their homes. The injured were transported to nearby schools, military facilities and neighbouring towns. Patients of hospitals in Sisak and Petrinja were also evacuated.

The whole world rushed to the aid of the Croatian people. Mere days after the tragedy, trucks with donations began arriving in the city. Fundraising began. The rebuilding of homes also began, with Eko-Okna contributing.

We have sent windows to Croatia. Although this is certainly a drop in the ocean of needs, we hope that, along with the windows, we have given those affected a little hope for a better tomorrow.
