Breakthrough in External Venetian Blinds – JA DC Solar Drive

JA DC is the first solar drive for external Venetian blinds offered by Eko-Okna. It’s ideal for new projects and will be particularly useful for those automating their blinds.

"JA DC in its solar version is a fully autonomous drive," says Michał Karpiński, product manager for blinds. "It is controlled by a radio remote, and all the energy needed for its operation comes from a small photovoltaic panel, so there’s no need to connect it to the electrical grid. When the sun shines, the battery hidden in the box charges, allowing the device to be operated at night or on cloudy days".

The new drive is especially beneficial for those who want to automate their existing external Venetian blinds. Installation is limited to simply replacing the drive, as there’s no need for any construction work, except for mounting the panel on a sunny wall.
