Today we celebrate the International Volunteer Day all over the world. The holiday, initiated by the United Nations, has been an excellent opportunity since 1986 to express respect to volunteers and emphasize that their work is invaluable. Volunteers are involved in social work for people in need. There are countless types of help - from fundraising, physical help, to psychological, organizational and educational support. Today's celebration is an opportunity to express respect to people who voluntarily and willingly help others on a daily basis. On this day, happenings are held in many countries as a thank you for their commitment, but at the same time an opportunity to encourage others to help selflessly. There are also volunteers within the Our Children Foundation who, despite the fact that they are not visible on a daily basis, are committed to and share good. They help in organizing many activities aimed at bringing a smile to someone's face, even for a moment. Among our "good hearts" we have people who have a number of skills and want to share it with others, which is why we have organized creative workshops for children 3 times. Eko-Okna companies are also happy to help: they organize collections for people in need, take part in the Szlachetna Paczka actions every year, and fulfill the dreams of people who, due to their disabilities, often crave mundane things, such as driving an Eko-Okna truck. & nbsp; All employees of our company are silent heroes, because they help without even seeing it. How is it possible? Every day we allocate part of the profit earned to charity. So far, we have provided financial support to institutions: orphanages, hospices and schools. We also helped people, who struggle with disabilities or other problems on a daily basis volunteers would not be possible without motivation and commitment, so we thank all those who help just like that - out of the goodness of the heart.
